So if you are like me and wanted to upgrade to WordPress 3.0 automatically…you might encounter this “error”
“Briefly unavailable for Scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute”
After you upgrade to wordpress 3.0 automatically, you get sent to a window that says “Briefly unavailable for Scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute”. I first thought it would go away after it finished installing, but it never did.
Here is how to solve the WordPress 3.0 “Briefly unavailable for Scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute” error:
- Step 1: Login to your blog via FTP
- Go to your root director where you have your wordpress install
- Be sure to “show hidden files”
- Delete the file named “.maintenance”
- You are good to go!
